Dylan Johanson, Founder and Head Coach
Founder and Head Coach Dylan Johanson holds an ADAPT Level 2 certification in parkour teaching. This certificate is not given out lightly; it must be earned through demonstrating a high level of coaching ability, physical and mental conditioning, technical proficiency, and knowledge of the discipline. Simply put, there aren't very many parkour coaches in the world who have attained ADAPT Level 2. Dylan has trained with many world-renowned practitioners including three of parkour's founders- Chau Belle, Laurent Piemontesi, and Yann Hnautra- as well as Dan Edwardes, Andy Pearson, Chris 'Blane' Rowat, Frederico Gato Mazzoleni, Mikkel Thisen, Jesse Danger, Sasa Sevo, Max Henry, Juho Kuusisaari, Ryan Ford, Amos Rendao, and many others.
Kody Sumahit, Coach
Kody attended ADAPT Level 1 in June of 2017 and is currently working on his supervised coaching hours. Kody has been a life-long athlete, dabbling in every sport he could get his hands, or feet on. He has studied Taekwondo and boxing and transferred the discipline acquired in these pursuits to his parkour training. One of our community's high-flyers, Kody's nickname around the gym is Cheat Kode because of his ability to unlock dynamic, technical movements on a large-scale. Kody enjoys helping his students reach their personal goals within the discipline, both physical and mental. He is inspired by his students to become better and better as a coach and he says that having them look up to him as though he were a superhero is one of the best feelings in the world.
Sandi Trillo, Coach
Sandi attended ADAPT Level 1 in September of 2016 and is currently working on her supervised hours. She is also a Level 2 MovNat Certified Trainer. MovNat is a physical education system that trains physical competence for practical performance. MovNat and parkour share the same lineage, both being strongly influenced by pioneering French physical educator, theorist and instructor Georges Hebert's Natural Method. Sandi is also a Level 1 certified Thai body-worker, holds a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics and is a Functional Movement Screen (FMS) certified exercise professional. In her own training, her passion extends beyond parkour to many other movement practices, including rock & ice climbing, slack-lining, yoga and acroyoga.
